PAGASA - Weather Forecast as of September 10, 2012


Synopsis:
At 2:00 am today, A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 960 km East of Mindanao (7.4°N, 136.0°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting Visayas and Mindanao. 
Forecast:
Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Luzon will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.


Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to Southeast with slight to moderate seas
