Claudine Barretto starts taping for TV5's docu-drama anthology

Claudine Barretto has started taping for TV5’s Untold Stories. The actress will act opposite Jay Manalo in the said docu-drama anthology, which is a spin-off of Face to Face.

The actress shot her scenes in Marikina last Saturday, August 11.

When Claudine transferred to GMA-7 in 2009, the actress signed a two-year contract with the Kapuso Network, which means her contract expired last November 2011.

However, the public relations specialist of TV5 clarified that Claudine will simply appear as a guest of Untold Stories.

Claudine was previously a Star Magic talent while she was in ABS-CBN for 17 years.

When she moved to GMA-7, she was given her own drama anthology titled Claudine. She then acted opposite Richard Gutierrez and Anne Curtis in the romantic drama In Your Eyes, co-produced by Viva Films and GMA Films.

She also starred in Jillian: Namamasko Po as well as Spooky Nights Presents: Nuno sa Feng Shui.

Claudine’s last regular show was the telefantasya Iglot, which aired from August 29 to November 11, 2011. She topbilled this show along with Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal.

To date, Marvin is also with the Kapatid Network. He currently hosts the reality show Artista Academy along with Cesar Montano.

Last May 6, Claudine and her husband, Raymart Santiago, became involved in a brawl that took place at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The commotion started when Raymart saw columnist Ramon Tulfo taking footage of Claudine, who was agitated over the offloading of their baggage from the airplane they disembarked from.

The Barrettos and Tulfos have filed cases against each other that are ongoing in court.
