PAGASA - Weather Forecast as of September 3, 2012


Synopsis:
At 2:00 a.m. today, A Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 470 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar (12.5°N, 130.0°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon. 
Forecast:
Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy over the Western sections. The rest of the country will be partly to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to west will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Southwest to South with slight to moderate seas.
