Philippines—Aldrech Ramos’ moment donning a Barako Bull jacket didn’t last
long.
Barako
Bull shipped the FEU standout to B-Meg in exchange for the 2012 12th overall
pick, Sean Anthony, who was earlier acquired by the Llamados from Global Port.
The
Energy Cola, meanwhile, used the pick to choose burly Dave Marcelo of San Beda
in the 2012 PBA Rookie Draft at Robinsons Midtown Manila.
Fil-Palestinian
Yousef Taha, who had a brief stint with Mapua and Cebuana Lhuiller in the PBA
D-League, was chosen first in the second round by Air 21.
NU’s
Jewel Ponferrada was picked up by B-Meg as the 13th overall pick while
Fil-American AJ Mandani came in next as Global Port’s 14th pick.
Guards
Lester Alvarez and Emman Monfort was chosen by Barako Bull Energy as 15th and
16th pick, respectively, to bolster its back court this coming PBA season.
Kelly
Nabong was chosen by Meralco as the 17th overall pick while UP’s Woody Co was
selected by Barako Bull.
UE’s
Raffy Reyes, who also suited up for Big Chill, was picked up by Alaska while
Talk ’N Text added another shooter to its roster by acquiring Jaypee Belencion
to wrap up the second round.
